MACHINE INSTALLED PAVERS

 

Mechanical installation of concrete unit pavers offers the industrial design professional economy and life-cycle when dealing with large open areas in which he can minimize aesthetic enhancements- such as banding, designs, and color changes – which must be installed manually. Selected pavers must be palletized in the finish pattern by the manufacturer, generally should be of either, 8CM, 10CM, or 12CM thickness unless loading is very light. At these thicknesses, loads such as continuous heavy forklift traffic or multiple-staked containerized cargo are no problem, and repairs and replacement, when necessary, are quick and economical. In recent years, machine-installed unit pavement has become very cost competitive with traditional asphalt and concrete designs for the typical project - A large seaport cargo landing area, and it far outlasts those older alternatives.
