Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavement

In a time of burgeoning green-consciousness in construction of all types, permeable concrete pavers are becoming the fastest-growing product in the interlocking paver world. Parking lots, access roads, streets and other newly paved surfaces can be constructed with strength and aesthetic appeal while affording vertical drainage - and thereby avoiding damaging runoff to adjacent properties.

Many larger projects can be machine-installed, thus executed with less labor cost.

Syrstone can provide complete packages including pavers, bed, base strata, curbs and engineering - or quote the finished paver surface only, while assisting your design professional in his drainage design.

Citifield / Shea Stadium Bus Parking Lot Flushing, NY

Before The New York Mets played their home opener on April 10, 2008, Syrstone had to install 75,000 SF of Unilock's Ecoloc pavers for the bus parking lot at the Flushing complex. Problem: the installation couldn't start until March 17, during rainy weather. But foreman Ray Rumrill got the job done with almost a week to spare.

Center Street Village / Mentor, Ohio

The privately-owned upscale residential community of Center Street Village, in Mentor,  was the first permeable project of its type and size in northern Ohio.  Using Unilock's Optilok permeable pavers, Syrstone achieved a finished surface of decorative appeal and far more than adequate vertical drainage.  When complete, the village will have more than 143,000 SF of Optilok pavement.

Crystal Beach / Poet's Landing, Danbury, CT

Construction of the upscale resort community of Crystal Beach / Poet's Landing, in Danbury, CT, required several fast-track installations of 15,000 to 20,000 SF each of Unilock Eco-stone pavers over a one-year period. The community is now served by some 94,000 SF of parking lots and drives which provide the necessary vertical drainage in this pristine environment.

Shur-Gard Storage Facilities Mahopac, NY

Shur-Gard Storage Facilities in Mahopac, NY, bury, CT, needed some 71,000 SF of Unilock's Eco-stone pavers installed, in less than a month, among and leading to its storage structures. The installation allowed the lower-Hudson River region facility to meet New York City Watershed regulatory requirements.
